Center of Excellence for
Regenerative Health Biotechnology

National Science Foundation, Florida Partnership for Industrial Biotechnology Career Development and Training Program

The NSF funded "Florida Partnership for Industrial Biotechnology Career Development and Training (FPIB);" is a collaborative effort of the University of Florida's Center of Excellence for Regenerative Health Biotechnology (CERHB) working with our partners: UF's Center for Precollegiate Education and Training (CPET), the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE), Santa Fe Community College (SFCC), and the school districts of Alachua and Marion counties. Through this innovative program, FPIB is developing and implementing curricula to recruit and educate high school and college students for entry and mid-level careers in industrial biotechnology. In parallel, the partnership is providing hands-on education and training to instructors for content delivery. The students trained in this program will be excellent candidates for hire into jobs within the state's biotechnology and agritechnology sectors.

Mission
